On the evening of September 17, 2019, Bing Dwen Dwen officially debuted. On the evening of February 4, 2022, Bing Dwen Dwen appeared at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Design elements:

Bing Dwen Dwen is a combination of panda image and ice crystal shell, which reflects the characteristics of winter ice and snow sports. The colorful halo on the panda's head is inspired by the "Ice Ribbon", the national speed skating hall of the Beijing Winter Olympics. The flowing color lines symbolize the ice and snow sports track and 5G high-tech; the headshell shape is taken from the ice and snow sports helmet. The overall shape of the panda is like an astronaut. It is an ice and snow sports expert from the future, which means the combination of modern technology and ice and snow sports. There is a small red heart in the palm of Bing Dun Dun, which is the character inside.
