Female connector

Female connectors, also known as Machined Pin Headers, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Connectors, socket connectors, or female connectors, are two types of electronic component connectors: SMD&Dip Contact Pad (Single Pin) and Multi-Contact Female Connectors. Used in conjunction with the corresponding male connector or pin header to achieve connections between circuits. The female connector has grooves or holes for accepting the protruding pins of the male connector.

Motherboard connectors are widely used in various electronic devices and circuit boards, such as computer motherboards, mobile devices, household appliances, and industrial control systems. They can be used for power or signal transmission and come in various shapes, sizes, and pin configurations to meet different technical requirements and application scenarios.

The base connector can be fixed to the circuit board via welding or crimping, and can be designed to support hot swapping, meaning it can be plugged in without damaging the circuit or components when the power is on.
