As the importance of environmental issues has become increasingly prominent, the requirements for related social responsibilities and ethics have gradually increased, and this trend has been concretized by various laws and regulations. For example, in Europe, laws prohibit the use of cadmium in the manufacture of products, or prohibit cadmium products. Violation of these regulations will not only lead to administrative penalties, but may also lead to serious criminal penalties.
As a result, more and more customers require compliance with these regulations and directives. In order to adapt to these conditions, prohibited environmentally-related substances comply with these regulations and directives. To achieve this effect, the support and cooperation of all suppliers must be required. Therefore, the two parties agreed on the following terms:
All subsequent products provided by Party B need to pass ROHS and affix the ROHS logo (including the smallest package of the product). Party B guarantees that the raw materials provided to Party A (including electroplating metal raw materials and various additives) must comply with the EU 2002/95/EC Directive ROHS requirements. The materials provided are prohibited from containing these environmental substances: Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent chromium (Cr6 hexavalent chromium), etc. and their compounds.
If the customer of Party A finds that the products provided by Party A contain the above-mentioned environmentally prohibited substances and cause losses to the customer, and request Party A to make a claim, Party A will follow up and send it to the product for inspection. If the inspection report proves to be caused by Party B’s raw materials As a result, Party A shall pay for the related costs sent by Party A for testing, the losses suffered by Party A’s similar inventory products, and Party A’s customer claims, and Party B’s payment method shall be in accordance with Party A and Party A’s specific requirements.
Please sign and seal back this agreement, and keep a copy of the names of both parties.
This agreement will take effect from the date of signing for a period of one year, and its effect will not be changed due to the resignation of a party's contractor and other reasons.
This agreement shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with Chinese law. Both parties shall sign their respective representatives under this agreement and the company shall stamp the form.
