What are spring contacts?
Spring contacts consist of a plunger (or head), barrel (or body), and a fully encapsulated thin spring to provide the spring force required to maintain positive contact. They all have high durability, and over 10,000 mating cycles.

Spring-charged probes: Various lengths and strokes in ATE to cope with probing of PCBs with multi-height spring-loaded probes Choice of nozzle styles to suit various contamination levels Choice of two-piece probes - sleeves attached to test equipment, but in the event of damage, wear, or end of life the probe can be removed and replaced with spring loaded SMT contacts - pogo pin surface mount vertical spring loaded contacts with a free height from 2.8mm to 8.2mm through hole pin options - Can be used for plated-through-hole soldering or as SMT position pins Circular contacts, gold finish, minimal wear Some options available in tape and reel for automated assembly systems SMT contact pads for surface mount fixing The Versatile Flat Contact Pads - Available in thicknesses from 0.1mm to 0.5mm in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly systems Gold plated finish for greater wear resistance Choose contact pad shapes - square, round or oval
