The pin jacks on the charging gun terminals often have problems when they are in use, so why do these things happen? Let’s take a look at them together.

1. The unreasonable crimping of the pin jack on the charging gun terminal causes the contact resistance to be too high and the temperature rise is too high With the crimping of the cable core and the terminal, the crimping contact surface develops towards point contact, and there is not enough contact surface. The crimping force is too large, causing wire breakage and reduced current-carrying capacity. The crimping force is too small, causing the crimping to be weak and causing a virtual connection.

   

2. The selection of the material for the pin jack on the terminal of the charging gun and the unreasonable selection of the plating layer causes the temperature to rise after use to be too high and burn it.

  The choice of the copper core material is different from the choice of plating, which will affect the electrical conductivity between the charging gun body and the socket, and the difference in materials will also affect the hardness of the terminal.

   The difference is too large. After the number of times exceeds a certain number, the coating on the surface will be destroyed to varying degrees, and the contact resistance generated during matching will be too high, which will affect the temperature rise.

   The treatment of the anti-static plug also affects the coordination of the terminals.

   

3. The anti-electric plug of the pin jack on the terminal of the charging gun is easy to fall off

   The connection between the plug and the terminal is unreliable and easy to loosen. When the charging gun product is designed for actual work, the temperature rises, the plug is easy to fall off, and there are certain problems in the structural design.


4. The accuracy of the pin jack on the charging gun terminal is insufficient, and the matching between the charging gun and the pin jack is relatively poor, resulting in a virtual connection

  The processing precision of the copper core is unreasonable, and the tolerance is too large, which causes the fit with the pin socket to be too tight or too loose.

   The unreasonable deformation of the matching elastic body behind the charging socket causes a certain deviation in the fit with the copper core.

  The contact resistance of the charging socket on the vehicle side is different due to the different plug forms.
